This is the first of the pages of photos of the birds. This page deals with Nov 9th & 10th only.
The first new bird was before we even reached Africa. It was abhu Dhabi airport when we found this bird inside the terminal late at night. This bird was still there three weeks later when we returned back home. It was a White-cheeked Bulbul.

Nov 10th.
The day of the Pelagic. Unfortunately the weather turned out to be very windy and the photo opportunities diminished with the badly bucking boat. I missed a lot of birds both seen and photographed but these are a few I did manage.
White-chinned & Pintado Petrel

Shy Albatross

Shy Albatross again.

Yellow-nosed Albatross.

Black-browed Albatross.

That's it from the Pelagic. Upon our return to Simonstown we were greeted by quite a few Hautlab's Gull on the key side.
Hautlab's Gull

As we were back with plenty of time to spare (albeit it extremely windy conditions) it was decided to go to the Boulders Beach reserve for a close up of the African Penguins (which we had seen from the boat on the way out to sea). A few photos from that reserve.
