This is a new concept for me having my own web site. Hopefully it will bring together my two forms of photography - Digiscoping and DSLR. Digiscoping I have been doing for a couple of years but the DSLR is a totally new discipline to me, as I only purchased a new Canon 30D Camera plus the 100-400 IS USM lens at the back end of November 2006. I have also been known to do a bit of twitching in my time and drift around The countryside armed with my RBA (Rare Bird Alert) pager. This has allowed me to gather a few photos of rare birds as well as the common ones that we see. My other passions are driving and going abroad and hopefully this website will help portray the birds I have seen in Portugal, Spain, Greece and Turkey. In fact I am going to Spain (Donana and the mountains around Ronda) on Dec 26th 2006 for a few days and have booked a two week Stint with a few friends in May 2007 to Lesbos so there will be trip reports and photos to include from both trips. I have also started to trap and photograph Moths in my garden here in Coventry and will show some of the moths I have caught. Lastly I would like to include trip reports from various places I have been to abroad and perhaps the odd trip here in the UK. I hope you like this site. It has taken me many years to actually get around to doing it.
